The Funny Bone is a national comedy club that has showcased first-rate comedians throughout its 30-plus year existence, including such superstars as Jerry Seinfeld, Tim Allen, Kathleen Madigan, Ellen DeGeneres and Dave Chappelle. The Funny Bone also provides the freshest up-and-coming comedians, as well as develops local talent. In addition to the featured comedians, The Funny Bone offers an extensive menu and a full bar with table service during the show.
Founder Mitch Kutash says, “We are excited to enter the Syracuse market. We have a beautiful facility that will compliment Destiny USA.” Adds VP Todd Leinenbach, “With our half-round stadium style seating the Syracuse location will continue our tradition of bringing the brightest stars of comedy that perform in 300-500 seat venues.”
About The Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant
The Funny Bone is a national chain of comedy clubs that offers a full service restaurant and bar paired with some of the most nationally-recognized comedians on the circuit. Co-Founders Mitch Kutash and Gerald Kubach opened the first Funny Bone in Pittsburgh, PA, after Gerald became enthralled with a comedy show. More than 30 years later, The Funny Bone is in more than 25 markets and continues to expand.
The Funny Bone is also a recognized pioneer in accommodating diverse community needs. Examples include hosting numerous charitable functions, to being the gathering place for various corporate outings and meetings, to holding children’s comedy and magic shows, The Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant has etched a permanent mark in comedic history.
Admission Rules:
You must be 21 or over for all shows, unless specified a special 18 & over show. Call the club if not certain for specific shows.
All seating preassigned and is done by first purchase, first sat basis. Seating starts at the front of showroom and works towards the back!
We are now selling tables of 2 or 4. Please note that 2 top shared reservations will be joining 2 other guests in the future when this applies!
If you would like to join another party, then you need to notify the club which party you would like to be seated with at least 24 hours in advance of that show time.

Our bar opens a half an hour prior to seating.
Seating is cut off thirty minutes after the show begins, as late arrivals may disrupt the performances.
Show times are subject to change! As a general rule, for our Special Engagement shows, seating will begin one and a half hour prior to show time for the first show of the evening. Seating will begin approximately half an hour prior to showtime for the second show of the evening.
For non Special Engagement shows, seating for the first show of the evening will begin one hour prior to showtime and approximately one half hour prior to the second show of the evening.
We have no minimums but dinner and drinks are not included in the ticket price.
You must bring a Valid Picture ID to be admitted.
Again, all reservations are preassigned based on your date/time of purchase. Tickets go on sale at least 6 weeks in advance.
Most of our tables seat four people. For groups of more than four, you will be seated at adjacent tables. If your party consists of less than four people, there is a possibility that other people may be sat with you.

We do not have a set dress code, but please bear in mind that we are a performance venue, so do not wear anything that will block the view of other patrons. Also, as a comedy club, we take no responsibility if a comedian makes fun of your outfit.
