FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A civil lawsuit filed in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court in Broward County, Florida, on behalf of Scottie Pippen alleges Lindsay Glazer(Woloshin), a lawyer, comedian and actress, caused over $100,000 in damage to the former NBA champion’s Ft. Lauderdale mansion during her time as a tenant.

According to the lawsuit, Glazer, her family and her guests caused damage to the premises while leasing the property after their home and permanent residence was damaged by Hurricane Irma.

“Seemingly in her rogue, no ’F’s given’ attitude, Glazer materially breached the terms of the Lease,” states the case filed on behalf of Pippen.

The inaccurate lawsuit also claims Glazer is a member of the Glazer family, who owns the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Manchester United Football Club and is worth approximately $4.5 billion.

“If I’m a member of that Glazer family, that’s news to me,” said Glazer. “If that were the case, we would have leased from Michael Jordan instead.”

Beyond the plethora of factual inaccuracies in the complaint, Glazer was never served and found out about the suit through a reporter who reached out for comment.

The suit depicts Glazer as the bad-girl of southeast regional comedy, exposing Glazer’s “illegal conduct,” such as allegedly failing to maintain proper renter’s insurance, speeding and other heinous crimes of that nature.

One of the crimes alleged in the suit, which is purported to have occurred at the Pippen residence, is the suspected theft of Cuisinart cutlery. A quick Google search reveals that a set can be purchased in assorted colors as a 12-pack on Amazon for $13.83.

As a result of the loss of Pippen’s beloved Cuisinart knives, which Glazer claims she is not responsible for, she is launching a GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign to help Scottie out.

“Making the list of the most financially irresponsible players in NBA history is no easy feat, so we’re turning to the public to help him out in these trying times,” said Glazer. “While we’re not responsible for the alleged damage and missing items he and his attorneys claim, we want to raise the whole $13.83 by turning to Mr. Pippen’s fans.”

According to Glazer, as long as $14(money must be raised in whole dollar increments) is raised via the GoFundMe page, a 12-pack, assorted colors, Cuisinart knife set will be sent to Pippen, and actually all of the funds raised from the campaign will be donated entirely to the Fisher House Foundation, which helps members of the military, retirees, veterans and their families.

Pippen’s Ft. Lauderdale estate is currently valued at $10 million and according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel was originally listed for just under $15 million in 2007.

The suit states that according to the lease, Glazer and another party were obligated to maintain the property in “top show condition” and “was not subject to reasonable wear and tear.”

Pippen is no stranger to the courtroom. According to the ABA Journal, Pippen and his attorneys sought $8 million against a Chicago law firm claiming they did not advise Pippen properly and had a conflict of interest during his purchase of a 2002 Gulfstream jet.

In a separate case in 2007, the Missouri Court of Appeals upheld a judgment that said Pippen had to pay a bank more than $5 million in breach of a contract lawsuit, again over a jet, according to the St. Louis American.

Also familiar with the courtroom, Glazer is a criminal defense attorney and current member of the Florida Bar Association. As a comedian, Glazer has performed at the Comedy Central Stage in Los Angeles for Sit ‘n Spin, The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles and Comic Strip Live in New York City.
